Below is a list of annual  and semi-annual fundraisers. If you have a desire to help in any capacity with any of these events, please email Mr. Smikahl.

 

Band Carwashes, Spring & Fall - Every year on the weekend in between the two weeks of band camp in July and now on a weekend before or after pre-band camp in May, the band hosts a carwash at a local retailer/buisness. All students in the marching band are expected to participate in this fundraiser.

 

Orange and Blue Preview Concert, BBQ & Silent Auction -  This fundraiser is held in conjunction with the end of July band camp performance. Students sell tickets for a BBQ dinner in the OE Commons immediately after the Preview Concert, which takes place in the OE Gym, followed by a silent auction. Spirit wear for the year is also available for purchase at this event. If you have connections through your employment for donations to the silent auction, please contact Mr. Smikahl. Historically this is our largest fundraiser of the year.  We regularly feed more than 500 people at this event.

 

Finals Survival Kits - The OE Band Boosters sell snack bags that are delivered at parents' request to their student during finals weeks for both semesters. Order forms are available through the parent newsletter and through weekly school announcement emails. In addition, "Survival Kits" for finals can also be purchased at Band concerts.

OE Bands Basket Bingo - Launched in January, 2016, this fundraiser is the second of our two major fundraisers annually. The event is typically held on a Saturday afternoon in January. All band students participate in selling tickets for the event, which is typically a 2 hour event with complimentary refreshments. Bingo winners receive themed prize baskets valued at $100+. Additionally, a wide range of prizes are raffled throughout the event.

 

Trip Fundraisers - Each year we designate at least one fundraiser towards our major trip that we take every three years. These traditionally include a cookie dough fundraiser in the early fall and have also included restaurant fundraisers as well.
